| Description: | Summer Cultural Arts Series - Wood Is Wonderful Gallery African Drumming and Woodcarving Workshops Discussion of woodcarving in African culture, demonstration of traditional African woodcarving tools. Create Adinkra symbols using hand tools. (dremel, rotozip, hand sanding) OR Learn West African drum techniques and rhythms using various African drums and percussive instruments. Experience African history and culture through stories of Yusef Crowders travels in West Africa.
