Description: Neil Tischler has been fascinated by nature since his early childhood in rural upstate New York and has been active in photography since his teens. Now, with the freedom of digital photography, he captures winter's frost patterns with their amazing intricacy and summer's stunning flowers, birds, and insects. Using only a hand-held camera and natural ambient light, Neil works with sunlight and shadows as he photographs subjects close up with a sparkle that makes them glow! Images are treated with minimal digital adjustments so the prints remain truest to nature.

Neil has been exhibiting and selling his photography since 2002. Prints are regularly on display at Handworks Gallery in Acton, Artful Image in Concord, NOA Gallery in Groton, and Winchester Art & Frame in Winchester. Blank photo notecards are in these stores and a dozen or so more in greater Boston.

Neil's primary occupation is that of mechanical engineering consultant, specializing in product design. Since 1978, he has helped bring many new products to market, with emphasis on the packaging of medical products (www.tischlerresources.com).
