| Description: | This exhibition is a collection of photographic works by Worcester photographer John Gaumond. Gaumond has an eye for capturing images of doors and windows. He writes: "What motivates me to photograph doors and windows? I am fascinated by how the elements of structure, shape, color, and texture combine to catch my eye. It doesn't matter if they are new or old, plain or decorated, cared for or neglected. Each one offers me an image that needs to be captured." The featured photographs are of houses, factories, shops, churches, and universities in the United States and in Europe, taken between 1985 and 2004. | |
