| Description: | The Daybreak Breakfast is designed to educate, motivate and inspire people to build safe communities by raising awareness of domestic violence, supporting survivors, and promoting healthy relationships. Domestic Violence Homicides: Predictable and Preventable The Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT) Model developed by the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is not just a program; its a comprehensive framework that leverages evidence-based assessments and multidisciplinary teams to predict and prevent domestic violence homicides. In this model, safety for victims takes center stage, ensuring their protection and support while simultaneously holding perpetrators accountable for their actions. Its a coordinated, proactive approach that seeks to break the cycle of violence before it escalates to its deadliest form. |
