| Description: | On this, the 25th Anniversary of World Smile Day join us for a community celebration from 1-4PM at historic Elm Park. Enjoy a beautiful afternoon touring the 2023 Art in the Park sculptures throughout the park.. Fun entertainment and activities are planned: - XLO Radio broadcasting at the event - Smiley will be present spreading positivity! - Worcester Public Library Libby Bookmobile - George's Coney Island Hot Dogs & Tastee Treats Ice Cream Food Trucks will be available for purchases - Polar Beverages offering samplings - Table Talk Pies distributing smiley pies - Sculpture Scavenger Hunt to encourage viewing of the Art in the Park sculptures around the park...and much more!! Worcester Historical Museum is proud to honor the memory and legacy of Harvey Ball and his world-famous creation, Smiley Face. On World Smile Day Smiley says, TAKE THE CHALLENGE. Be a Smile Ambassador. Do an act of kindness. Help one person smile on World Smile Day. Make Worcester the epicenter of the day! |
