Description: | Join the Shrewsbury Public Library with local beekeeper and Auburn resident, John Hedley, of the Worcester County Beekeepers Association (a leader in beekeeping education for over 100 years), as he discusses key topics relating to bees and our environment. John will present on starting a beehive, collecting honey, the physical structure of a hive, bee chores in and out of a hive, the bee colony and its organization, and the importance of pollination.
