| Description: | HCD's 2nd SATURDAY CONTRA DANCE, Sat. 03/11/2023 TIME: Dance 7:30-10:30 pm [Intro session 7:15 - 7:30 pm] WHERE: Temple Beth Torah's hall @ 130 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT 06109 ALL ARE WELCOME! There are NO restrictions or requirements in order to attend! We often switch partners after every dance so there is no need to bring a partner and no experience is needed to have a fantastic time! ROLE TERMS: Traditional - "ladies & gents" or "women & men" but all are welcome to choose the role term they desire! CALLER: Jen Jasenski. LIVE MUSIC: "KITCH 'N SYNC" (Britt Goodman, Alan Preliasco, Jane Prentice, Robin Reid, and Jim Prentice). ADMISSION: $13 ($5 for students, $30 max for families). Please, no $50 or $100 bills. Donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated! MASKS: are NOT required but you are welcome to wear one. CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR: Clothing is casual, layers are best for this invigorating exercise. Please wear non-street shoes that move easily on the floor (rubber soled sneakers are discouraged). PARKING: is tight: Please park on the street or in the public lot behind Keeney Hall (1/10 mi north on Main St). There's no parking on the Temple grounds.
