| Description: | COMMUNITY BARN DANCE @ WARWICK CENTER FOR ARTS, Sat. 03/18/2023 TIME: Dance 7:30-10:30 pm [Intro session 7:15 - 7:30 pm] WHERE: Warwick Center for the Arts - gallery @ 3259 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886 ALL ARE WELCOME! There are NO restrictions or requirements in order to attend! We often switch partners after every dance so there is no need to bring a partner, and no experience is needed to have a fantastic time! ROLE TERMS: Traditional - "ladies & gents" or "women & men" but all are welcome to choose the role term they desire! No fancy footwork needed to attend, just come, enjoy the friendly camaraderie, dance to live music and see everyone's smiling faces! CALLER: Elwood Donnelly, of the nationally acclaimed duo "Atwater Donnelly"! LIVE MUSIC: "FRENCH CONNECTION" plays traditional contra dance tunes with a French accent with Deck Nieforth on Harmonica and Spoons; Dan Lanier on Fiddle and Guitar; Mike Fischman on Guitar! MASKS: are NOT required but you are welcome to wear. Please sign our contact tracing sheet when you arrive. ADMISSION: $12.00 per person (WCA Members $10) OR, Students (with ID, please) $8, or, Families $30. *Donations are greatly appreciated and encouraged! CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR: Clothing is casual, layers are best for this invigorating exercise. Please wear non-street shoes that move easily on the floor (rubber soled sneakers are discouraged).
