| Description: | COMMUNITY BARN DANCE, Fri. 01/21/2023 TIME: Dance 7:30-10:30 pm [Intro session 7:15 - 7:30 pm] WHERE: WARWICK CENTER FOR THE ARTS - Gallery @ 3259 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886 Bring your family, friends or just yourself to our community barn dance for an evening of contras, squares and other dances! No fancy footwork needed to attend, just come, enjoy the friendly camaraderie, dance to live music and see everyone's smiling faces! CALLER: Don Heinold, who is a local Rhode Island caller who has been calling for over 12 years! LIVE MUSIC: "Woody and the West Side Warblers" who are: Camilla Streeter, keyboards; Bob Elliott, fiddle, David Horne, bass, mandolin or banjo; and Chris Warren, fiddle or cello. They are skilled musicians that radiate energy and joy through their music. They are not to be missed! COVID: are always accepted and optional. Please provide contact info (email or phone) on our Contact Tracing & Waiver sheet is the only requirement. ADMISSION: $12.00 per person (WCA Members $10) OR, Students (with ID, please) $8, OR, Families $30. *Donations are greatly appreciated and encouraged! CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR: Clothing is casual, layers are best for this invigorating exercise. Please wear non-street shoes that move easily on the floor (rubber soled sneaker are discouraged). Cowboy boots or hats are not necessary. FOOD: Some snacks offered at the break. PARKING: There is plenty of free parking right next to or behind the hall.
