Description: | Music Lives 365 LIVE is a new series of shows in Worcester that combines live and recorded music, video and graphic art to celebrate musical artists worthy of recognition - the famous and infamous. Held in Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer, each show features local musicians performing songs by artists born during that season. Music Lives 365 LIVE is produced and hosted by Larry Haley, radio programmer since 1975 at WCUW 91.3FM in Worcester and publisher of Music Lives 365. Larry will be joined by local musicians Bob Jordan and his band, Walkin Antiques, Deb Northway, Charlie Blaum with Natasha Hanna and John Solaperto, and Bill Boehm & Paul Trunnel to celebrate the music of these artists who were born in the Fall: Tom Waits, Joe Henry, Patsy Cline, Leonard Cohen, Kim Richey, Gram Parsons, Gene Clark, Mahalia Jackson, Paul Simon, Thelonious Monk, Natalie Merchant, Joni Mitchell, Abdullah Ibrahim, and more. Open to the public, Music Lives 365 LIVE aims to both entertain audiences and deepen their appreciation of music and artists they may or may not be familiar with. No ticket or reservation is needed. A suggested donation of $5 at the show is appreciated. Food and beverages by Acoustic Java are available for purchase. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Worcester Arts Council, which was made possible with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding from the City of Worcester. #WACFunded #ArtsMatterHere |
