Description: The Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness launches its speaker series with a presentation by Professor Michael Hoberman, who will discuss the cultural history that surrounds Judaism's holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, as they are observed in the United States. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins at sundown that day. Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, begins at sundown on Sunday, Sept. 27.
