Description: The Forge Theater Lab, composed of Fitchburg State alumni, presents a staged reading of Erik Nikander '14's play "Lifeblood." The reading can be viewed on the Forge YouTube channel. In the play, a miracle medical device has the country abuzz about an exciting female entrepreneur. But when a young journalist begins to dig deeper, she finds out the shocking truth about the company and its founder. This drama was inspired by the true events of the Theranos scandal. The reading features Daniel Hankins, Rebecca Joseph, Rachael Miles, Hamed Zarei, Valerie Schillawski, Noah Dawson, Jim Douglas, Steven Beck, and Katie Williams. Directed by Jack Crory.
