Description: Dr. Selina Gallo-Cruz of the College of the Holy Cross and Milagros Montenegro, an alumna of Holy Cross and recipient of the Imse Award for excellence in the connection of scholarship to public service in the Worcester community, will present a lecture, Worcester Women Activists, at Assumption College on December 4. Dr. Gallo-Cruz and Ms. Montenegro have been involved in gathering and transcribing over 20 oral histories of local women for the Worcester Women's Oral History Project.
