Description: Bedlam Book Cafe and the Worcester County Poetry Association invite you to A Tribute to Elizabeth Bishop on Wednesday, October 9th. A poetry open mic will be followed by a reading of Bishop's poetry by Therese Gleason Carr. Bishop, a Worcester native, was a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet known for a meticulously observant, understated style that at the same time evokes powerful emotions. Free and open to the public!

An open poetry reading will proceed the feature. Please bring a poem or two to share, or just sit back and listen.
