Description: Come learn what a coldwater fishery is and how to protect these unique natural resources. Watch how water quality is tested. See some of the plants and animals that live here. Take a short walk and see how water protection and land-use are connected. This 1-hr guided tour of Coal Mine Brook is free but pre-registration is required at the event website. Park next door at the Reliant Medical Center and follow the sidewalk over the brook to the wooded staircase down to the trail.
