Description: | CANCELED-"Spanning the Centuries Pianist Malcolm Halliday puts the Assumption Colleges magnificent new Steinway D concert grand piano through its paces in a program featuring virtuosic works from Mozarts Sonata in C major, K. 330 to the Mexican composer Manuel Ponces epic Balada Mexicana. Also on the program will be two impressionistic works: Ravels sparkling Jeux deau and Debussys mystic La cathédrale engloutie, as well as three piano etudes of Chopin. This performance is free and open to the public. |
