Description: The orchestra, conducted by Myron Romanul, will perform patriotic, Broadway, and classical music pieces, including selections from Hamilton. Vocal soloists will be Jane Shivick and Todd Yard. Also, John Delorey will conduct Vox Omnis, his chorus. The performance will conclude with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, plus Sousa marches, accompanied by fireworks. Announcer will be Bobbie Chase and this concert will be broadcast by Nick Chase on Monday, July 8, at 9 PM, on WCUW, 91.3 FM. Funding, in part, is from the Worcester Arts Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. (The rain date is Wednesday, July 3.)
