UMass Lowell walking study for seniors (65-85)

Description: UMass Lowell researchers are conducting research investigating:

(1) how people change the way they walk while performing mind puzzles (e.g., addition math problems, color-word naming) and/or encountering challenges that alter their walking balance
(2) how this capability of performing two tasks simultaneously relates to their fall history and biomarkers for cognitive-motor function.

You can take part in this study if you dont have:
(1) History of major leg injuries
(2) Pain in your legs or spine that limit your walking
(3) Unexplained dizziness in the past 6 months
(4) Chest pain or shortness of breath without exertion
(5) Color blindness

Monetary compensation ($ 50 cash) will be provided.
