Description: Introduces the exploration of the red planet beginning with Percival Lowell's drawings of canals on Mars to H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds and into the modern era with NASA & ESA orbiting spacecraft, landers and rovers. Future landers and orbiting space craft will also be discussed.
