Description: | Instructor: Debbie Carpenter The daylily has come a long way from the original few species found in nature. Through hybridization and conversion of chromosome number, the colors, shapes and sizes of the blossoms among other traits have been expanded. Hybridizers, both professional and amateur, are still working to create even more spectacular plants. This talk will show examples of some of these changes and present a brief introduction on how to hybridize and grow from seed. |
