Description: Fitchburg State celebrates International Women's Day on March 5. From 1 to 2 p.m., there will be a presentation of women's empowerment-themed presentations featuring the work of campus clubs and organization including Feminist Conversations, FAVE, Gay Straight Alliance, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Sigma Tau, and World Integrated Nations. From 2 to 3:15 p.m., there will be a "Herstory" discussion circle facilitated by students from Professor Viera Lorencova's intercultural communications class and Professor Ozge Ozay's political economy of gender class.
