About Maria Ferrante
Soprano Maria Ferrante maintains a full schedule of performances on both the local and international stage. Her name has become familiar to audiences world over. A winner of the Mario Lanza Voice Competition, she has been acclaimed by the Washington Post and the Boston Phoenix. Richard Dyer of The Boston Globe has called her a true singing actress Maria Ferrante broke my heart last night. Maria's performances have delighted audiences worldwide. She has recorded for Naxos, Albany, Navona Records and AFKA labels and also has four solo CDs to her credit. She is a featured vocalist in Mechanics Hall Concerts for Kids programming.
About Stanley Wilson
Worcester Schubertiades Executive Director Stanley Wilson has been with the organization since its inception in the summer of 2012. With a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the Longy School of Music and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration at Boston University Metropolitan College, he enjoys his time running this performing arts non-profit. He is strongly committed to building an organization that will contribute to community vitality and a collective efficacy in our region by building resiliency, fostering social capital and strengthening interpersonal ties.
About Kristjon Imperio
Kristjon Imperio B.M.Ed, graduated from Atlantic Union College, studying piano with his father Roy Imperio and organ with William Ness. He has since remained active as a pianist, organist, and clinician throughout New England, most recently as Choral Clinician for the AUC Music Clinic in Hartford, CT (2011, 2015) and Piano Clinician for the NNEC Music Clinic in Freeport, ME (2005-2014). In 2008, he founded Nashaway Chorus, Inc., and served as Music Director of the organization. Kristjon is also Minister of Music at First Congregational Church of West Boylston MA, Organist at the College Church of SDA in Lancaster MA, Adjunct Faculty at Anna Maria College in Paxton MA, and is a Founding Member of the New England Piano Trio and Seele Musicale Chamber Ensemble. He is Program Director at Pakachoag School of Greater Worcester.
