Description: Learn how genetics impacts health and the importance of participating in research studies to learn more about how lifestyle and environmental factors impacts a persons health and genes. Attendees of the workshop will be given information on a particular health condition and free health information sources they can use to learn more about genetics and the chosen health topic. Also, a representative from All of Us will be here to answer questions that attendees may have about participating in the research program. The series is being funded by a grant from the Southeastern/Atlantic Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine which is part of the National Library of Medicine.
