Description: Combining archival audio, rare film, well-researched storytelling, and collective music-making, percussionist and author of The Band: Pioneers of Americana Music (2014, 2017); Heartbeat, Warble and the Electric Powwow: American Indian Music (2016); and Bluegrass, Newgrass, Old-time, and Americana Music (May 2018), Craig Harris leads this informative journey from old-time Appalachian fiddlers and banjo players to Americana experimenters and beyond.
