| Description: | Donna Hamil Talman's richly textured art reflects her fascination with the ancient past and our connection to it. Photographic images of fossil vertebrate taken in natural history museums throughout the world are manipulated using unique, hands-on photo processes. These images will be shown in combination with photos of prehistoric objects found in the Worcester area which are in the EcoTarium collection. Hamil Talman has been selected for two Massachusetts Cultural Council grants, a Creative Arts Fellowship and residences at the Vermont Studio Center and the Hungarian Multicultural Center. Recent solo or small group shows include galleries in Chicago, Seattle, Houston, Denver, New York, and Russia. |
