| Description: | If you have ever had the desire to make your own glass beads, then this class, with guest glass artist Nancy Tobey is for you. As a beginner you will learn about the very basics of glass beadmaking. Be prepared to make dozens of beads; round, bicone and tubular for starters. Using those basic shapes, we will progress to surface decoration on your beads ranging from dots to lines to flower designs. Studio saftey issues and beadmaking resources will also be covered. If you have your own tools, glasses and soft glass, feel free to bring them. Also, be sure to bring a notebook! Beginner/Advanced Beginner welcome. Glass available for purchase in studio supply shop. |
